Are you really practicing magick if you don't own these items?

Envision this like a digital Hogwarts, except we aren't fighting trolls and Dementors or things if that nature. Remember in the first movie where Harry had to go shopping for all the items he would need to be a great first year wizard? This is where the Siren Checklist comes in. These are items that are currently in my home that are in use year round. Please note that you do not have to gather all of these materials at once like a mad man. Build your way up and start with what you already have.


Let's break it down into sections:


Oil Bases:

  • Olive Oil

Herbs/Roots/Stones: (don't worry, there's going to be a full lesson on each herb and what it can be used for)

Altar Supplies:

  • Ancestor Money

  • Candle Holders

  • Pictures of ancestors

  • Written names of ancestors

  • White cloth

  • Fresh water

  • Flowers

  • Fruit (Oranges, Apples, Grapes)

  • Gifts (jewels, seashells, perfumes, etc)

  • Liquor

  • Lotion Pompeii

  • Incense and Incense holder

  • Book of Psalms


Cleansing Supplies:

  • Florida Water

  • Lavanda Water

  • Sage

  • Palo Santo

  • Kolonia


Communication Supplies:

  • Tarot Cards

  • Bells

  • Bones

  • Hoodoo Dolls (we will learn together how to create a proper one)


Misc:

  • Grimoire (Journals)

  • Petition Paper (I usually rip pieces from brown paper bags)

  • Hot Foot Powder

  • Mortar and Pestle

  • Mason Jars

  • Magnetic sand

  • Labels (to label oils and supplies)

  • Evil eye charms

  • Bowls (I like to use wooden ones)
